The Drakkellian coat of arms features several important elements. The pyramid of dots represents the coins of Drakkel which are the pride of the nation and the lifeblood of the economy. The central keep represents the guildhouses which are the basis of the government and financial strength of the nation. The crossed scroll and dagger at the bottom represent the laws of the land and the Drakkellian army, respectively.

The red represents the blood spilled amidst battles and adventures toward wealth. The black represents many things... the dark of night of smuggling, the despair of those with no wealth and finally, death, that which everyone, even the nobles, eventually succumb to in the end.
